Rohit Flour Mill

Rohit Flour Mill is located right in the middle of Pochanpur Colony in Dwarka. This part of Dwarka still feels a bit like a village sometimes, which is nice for a business like ours. We have been here for a while, just grinding grain for the local families. The mill isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy building with our machines inside. We get a lot of people from the colony coming in with their sacks of grain on their shoulders or on the back of a scooter. It is a daily routine here, waking up early to open the doors and starting the first batch of the day. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of crushed wheat, which I have grown to like over the years. We take the grain, put it through the mill, and hand back the warm flour in bags. Pochanpur has changed a lot with more buildings going up, but the need for fresh flour stays the same. Sometimes the machines need a bit of fixing, so you might see me with grease on my hands instead of flour. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long out in the sun. It is an honest living and we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. Dwarka is a big place, but our little corner in Pochanpur keeps us plenty busy enough with the daily grinding work.
