Raja Tents

Raja Tents has been operating out of A-133 on Church Road in Shanti Kunj for a good while. Vasant Kunj is where we do most of our work, but we travel around quite a bit. The shop is pretty basic because most of our time is spent outdoors anyway. We deal with tents, poles, and all the seating that goes under them. It is heavy work and we spend a lot of time loading up the trucks. If you come by the address, you’ll probably see us checking the fabrics or repairing some of the frames. We don’t have a lot of fancy office space because we don’t really need it. The weather is a big part of our life. When it rains, everything gets heavy and messy, and when it’s hot, the work is just exhausting. We just focus on getting the structures up so people have a place to stay. It’s not a complicated business but it requires a lot of muscle and patience. Sometimes the ground is uneven or the space is too small, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation. We are just a local team that knows how to put up a tent. Most people find us through word of mouth around the neighborhood. It’s a lot of physical labor but it keeps us busy throughout the year.
