Paradise Furn

Down in A 51 Naraina Industrial Area Phase I, things are always moving. Paradise Furn is tucked away in that industrial stretch, and if you have ever been to Naraina, you know it’s a lot of trucks and noise. We spend our days dealing with furniture of all kinds. It is a dusty business, there is no way around that. Between the sawing and the sanding, there is always a layer of wood dust on everything. We have been in this spot for quite a bit, and we’ve seen the area change over the years. We mostly focus on getting the pieces built and moved out to wherever they are going. It’s not a fancy showroom with soft music and carpets. It’s a workshop with concrete floors and a lot of heavy lifting. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that; it’s just a few of us who know how to put things together. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing them, which is just how it goes in this line of work. We get orders for chairs, tables, and cabinets, and we just work through them one by one. It’s honest work and it keeps us tired but it’s what we know. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the noise before you see the door. The smell of sawdust is basically always on our clothes when we go home.
