Naveen Furniture

Naveen Furniture has been sitting here at R-Z-10A on Indra Park Main Palam Road for quite some time now. If you come by, you’ll probably see us out front or hear the saws going in the back. The shop is full of the smell of cut wood and wood polish, which is something we’ve just grown used to over the years. We have different kinds of furniture sitting around, some finished and some just waiting for a final coat of varnish. It’s a bit of a dusty environment because of all the sanding we do, so we are always wiping down the tables and chairs before anyone comes to see them. Palam Road is always loud with traffic, and sometimes the dust from the street mixes with the sawdust in the shop, but we just keep working through it. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have a real workshop where things are actually built. Our hands are usually rough and have a few scars from the tools, but that’s part of being a carpenter. People from Indra Park often stop by just to chat or ask about a small repair for a broken leg on a chair. We take our time with the wood because you can't rush it if you want it to last. It’s a basic business, and we like the feeling of making something solid that people can actually use in their homes for years without it falling apart.
