Being located in Nariana Industrial Area-II means we are always surrounded by factories and big warehouses. Our particular spot at A-35 is right in the middle of all that constant noise and movement. There are a lot of trucks coming and going at all hours of the day. Inside our building, it is mostly just desks, phones, and a whole lot of ledgers piled up. Trading is not always the most exciting thing in the world, but it definitely keeps us on our toes. We are usually very busy coordinating between different people and making sure the goods are moving from one place to another without getting stuck. There is always someone calling on the phone about a late delivery or a price change. We do not have a fancy reception area with a receptionist. It is just a practical place where the actual work happens. You will see plenty of empty tea cups sitting around on the desks by the end of the day. The industrial area has a certain grit to it that you get used to. Dust comes in through the windows if we leave them open for too long, but that is just part of being in this part of town. We know most of the neighbors, usually other guys running similar types of businesses. We talk about the traffic or the local power cuts that happen sometimes. It is a simple life for us, really. We just buy and sell things and try to make it work.
