Jawahar Prasad Karn

Our place is over in Dwarka Sector 3, specifically in Pocket II at number 284. It is a quiet residential-feeling area, which is nice because it isn't as loud as the main roads around Delhi. Jawahar Prasad Karn is based right here, and the setup is pretty basic. We have some wooden chairs for visitors and a large table where most of the paperwork happens. The lighting isn't the best in the evening, so we have a couple of extra lamps plugged into an extension cord. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, like the vegetable seller calling out or the cars parking in the evening. There isn't a lot of space for fancy displays, so we just keep things functional. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Most people who come here are regulars who know where the bell is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in notebooks. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and we say hello to the security guard every morning. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we sweep it when we can. It’s just a honest place where we handle our daily business and try to keep things organized despite the constant flow of papers. We usually close up when it gets dark and the street lights come on.
