We are located at Shop Number 4060 in Naya Bazar, which is right near the Lahori Gate Chawl. It is an old, crowded part of the city, and our shop has been part of the fabric here for a long time. We primarily do catering, which means our kitchen is usually full of steam and the smell of spices from early in the morning. We also help out with the general planning of events, like finding the right space or getting the lighting sorted. Being in Naya Bazar means we have to deal with very narrow streets, so getting our supplies in and our delivery vans out is a daily struggle. We do not have a fancy showroom or a website with touched-up photos. Most people find us just by walking past the shop or hearing about us from their relatives. We take pride in the food we cook, using the same recipes that have worked for us for years. It is a very hands-on business. You will often find us with flour on our hands or carrying heavy crates of vegetables. We do not promise anything impossible; we just provide good meals and make sure there are enough plates for everyone. It is hard, sweaty work, but it is how we have made our living for a generation. We keep the fires burning and the pots stirring every single day.
