Indian Glaciers Tourism

Our small office is at 19 I N A Kashmiri Market. It’s right across from Delhi Haat and very close to the subway station. It’s a very busy part of town. Indian Glaciers Tourism isn't a big travel agency with fancy brochures. We just have a desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and a computer that’s a bit slow. There’s always the smell of food from the nearby stalls. It makes us hungry all day. We spend most of our time answering questions about trips and bookings. People stop by on their way to the market or the metro. It’s a lot of talking. Sometimes we have to explain things twice because of the noise from the street. The office is small and the walls are covered with a few maps that are starting to curl at the edges. We don't mind. It’s a practical space. We keep a bottle of water on the desk for anyone who looks tired from the heat. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to help people get where they are going without too much trouble. It’s a simple business. We close up when the market starts to wind down. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on people finding us here in the market. It’s worked for us so far and we keep going.
