Goel Computer & Communication

Our shop, Goel Computer & Communication, is at K-39 on the Main Raja Puri Road in Dwarka. We’ve been here for a few years now. We handle both computers and mobile phones, which keeps us pretty busy. Some days we are fixing a laptop hinge, and the next hour we are trying to recover data from a water-damaged phone. It’s a bit of a mix. The shop is usually full of boxes and old monitors. My cousin works with me, and he’s the one who’s really good with the hardware side of things. I handle the customers and the software issues. Dwarka is a big area, but Raja Puri has its own local feel. We get a lot of students coming in because they need their laptops fixed for classes. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It's just a regular shop with a lot of tools and parts. We try to be quick with the repairs because we know people can't stay without their devices for long. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job if someone really needs their computer back by morning. We don't make a big deal out of it; it's just what we do. We like the work and the people we meet. It’s a messy, honest business and we are fine with that. We just focus on getting the devices back in working order for our customers.
