Down in the basement of B-19 on the main road, you will find Computer India Service. We are right opposite the Dvbmanglapuri in Palam Village. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice when you are surrounded by running computers and servers. The space is filled with the hum of cooling fans and the smell of solder sometimes. We deal with all sorts of hardware issues and technical problems that people in the village bring to us. It’s not a polished retail store; it’s more of a workshop where there are tools on every surface and old monitors stacked in the corners. Palam Village is a busy place, and being on the main road means people can find us easily enough, even if they have to step down into our area. We spend most of our time hunched over keyboards or looking into the guts of a laptop. It’s a quiet kind of work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes the internet goes out or the power flickers, but we just keep going. We don't have a big team or a fancy reception desk. Usually, it’s just us and the machines. People appreciate having a place nearby where they can get their tech sorted without having to travel all the way into the city. It’s a simple, hardworking environment here in the basement, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
