We are based out near the DLF Chatterpur farms in Satbari. Being in Mehrauli gives us plenty of space, which is good because we have a lot of gear to store. We handle events of all sizes, mostly around this part of town. It’s not always glamorous work like people think. A lot of it is just making sure the generators have fuel and the sound system doesn't buzz. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Our office at 31/1 is where we do all the planning, but we’re usually out at a site somewhere. We’ve worked at most of the farms around here at one point or another. We know which gates are too small for trucks and where the power outlets are hidden. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do the job and hope people like it enough to tell their friends. It’s a lot of phone calls and list-making. Sometimes things go wrong, like a tent leaking or a light bulb blowing out, and we just have to fix it on the fly. That’s just how the event business goes. We’ve been doing this for a while and we’ve learned that being prepared is better than being fancy. We just keep going until the last guest leaves. It’s a long day usually, but we are used to the pace by now. We just want things to run as smooth as they can.
