Daksh Communications

I run Daksh Communications from a small spot at B-5-6/4394 in Vasant Kunj. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We handle phones, recharges, and all those small tech things people need every day. Vasant Kunj is a big area, but our corner feels more like a local hangout sometimes. People come in not just for a new SIM card but to ask how to fix a setting on their screen. I spend a lot of time looking at tiny buttons and screens. The shop is full of boxes and those little scratch cards for mobile balance. It’s not a high-end showroom with glass floors. It’s just a counter, some stools, and a lot of wires. I’ve been doing this for a while now, so I’ve seen phones change from those old bricks to the glass ones people use now. The work is steady, though it gets frustrating when the internet goes down or a customer is upset about their bill. I try to help where I can without making it complicated. Most of the time, I’m just behind the counter, chatting with whoever walks in. It’s a good way to see what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don’t have a fancy website or a mission statement. We just open the shutters in the morning and help people get their phones working. It’s a decent life in a busy part of Delhi.
