We are based in Katwaria Sarai at A 132. It is a residential-feeling area but we have our setup here in this building. It is mostly a bunch of monitors and hard drives humming all day long. The room stays pretty cool because the machines get very hot when they are running. We do a lot of editing and digital work here. Sometimes we stay up late finishing a project and the only thing open is the paratha stall down the road. It is not a shiny office with a big lobby and a guard. You have to walk through a small gate to get to us. There are cables running across the floor, so you have to be careful where you step. My partner and I do most of the work ourselves. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. If the phone rings, one of us just picks it up. We use a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long shifts. The walls are painted a plain white and we have some old chairs that we found at a sale. It is a practical space for doing media stuff. We don't spend money on fancy furniture because the computers and cameras cost enough as it is. We just try to get the videos and images looking right for the job. It is a quiet street, which helps us focus on the screen. (250 words)
