Artist Management India

Naraina Industrial Area is a busy place, and we've been at B 191 for a while now. It’s mostly warehouses and small offices around here, so it gets quite loud during the day with all the trucks moving in and out. Artist Management India is just a small team of us working from this spot. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at our desks trying to coordinate things. It isn't always glamorous work, even if the name sounds like it might be. Most days it’s just sorting out schedules and making sure people show up where they are supposed to be. The office is okay, nothing too fancy, but it works for what we need to do. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial area over the years. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the highlight of the afternoon when things get a bit stressful. Managing people is mostly about handling small problems before they turn into big ones, which keeps us pretty occupied from morning until evening. We don't really do big speeches or anything, we just try to get the jobs done and go home. Finding the right balance between the paperwork and the actual events is probably the hardest part of being here. If you ever find yourself in this part of Naraina, you’ll see it’s a lot of hard-working people just trying to make things happen. That's basically how we see ourselves too. It's just us at B 191 getting through the day's tasks.
