Living and working in Ponda is quite different from the touristy spots in Goa. It's much more about the daily grind and the local community. Anand Bhavan Society is a nice enough place, and being in Block 1 makes it easy for people to find us once they get inside the gate. We have the ID Hospital right nearby on the road, which is the main landmark we tell everyone. If the road is busy, it can take a while to turn into the society because of the traffic. Our office is pretty basic. We have a few wooden chairs for visitors and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking sound when it's on high. We spend most of the day on the phone or writing things down in ledgers. It's not a high-tech setup by any means. We are just here to manage the local side of the group's business. In the afternoons, when it gets really hot and humid, the office gets a bit sleepy, but we push through. We don't really do any advertising. People usually find us because they already know the company or someone told them where we are located. We just keep our heads down and handle the distribution work. It's a steady pace, nothing too frantic. We like the neighborhood because it’s got everything we need within walking distance. It’s just a normal, hardworking office environment in the middle of Tisk.
