We are Mallikarjun Multifruits Processing Producer Company Limited and we set up our place at House No. 198/G3 inside Rubby Residency in Chaudi. It’s a busy little spot here. We spend most of our days dealing with all kinds of fruits brought in from the local areas. It's not a big fancy factory or anything, just us working out of the residency area to get things processed. We started this because there are so many trees around and it seemed right to do something with the harvest. People around Chaudi know where we are. Usually, the smells of the fruit give it away. We handle the cleaning, cutting, and whatever else needs doing to get the fruit ready for whoever needs it. It gets a bit crowded in the workspace sometimes when a big load comes in, but we manage. My cousin helps out and a few neighbors drop by. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big corporate office, just the rooms here at G3. We try to keep things moving so the fruit doesn't sit too long in the heat. Sometimes the power goes out but that's just how it is in this part of town. We just keep at it every day. Actually, we spend a lot of time just talking to the farmers who drop off their baskets. It keeps us connected to the community here in South Goa. We mostly just focus on getting the work done without making a big fuss about it.
