Mackenzie Wines Llp operates out of Shop No. 2 in the Dias Building, located in the Arlem area of Raia. We are right on the edge of Margao in South Goa. The shop is a straightforward place where we handle our wine business. It’s not one of those fancy boutiques with velvet curtains. We have sturdy shelves and a floor that can take a lot of heavy crates moving across it. The Dias Building is easy to find if you know the Arlem road. We spend our mornings checking inventory and the afternoons dealing with the heat and the paperwork. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. Our staff is just a handful of people who know their way around a bottle. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the wine gets to where it’s supposed to go. The 403720 area is a good spot for us because it’s easy for the delivery vans to pull up and load. The space is a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, but we manage by stacking things high against the back wall. It's just a regular local business trying to do things right without any fuss. We’ve got a couple of old desks tucked in the back where the accounting happens. It gets a bit dusty but we clean it once a week.
