Lupin Pharma

Lupin Pharma is located out in the Verna Industrial Area. If you’ve ever driven through this part of Goa, you know it’s a huge area with lots of different companies lined up. Our facility is quite big and we have to follow a lot of strict steps every day just to get inside. It’s very different from the touristy parts of the state. Inside, everything is very clean and white, and we spend a lot of our time wearing lab coats and hairnets. It can be a bit repetitive, checking the machines and making sure the batches are moving through correctly. The air conditioning is always running because the medicine needs to stay at a certain temperature. We have a canteen where most of us eat lunch and talk about things other than work for a bit. The commute out to Verna can be quite a drive depending on where you live, but the greenery along the way is nice. Working here feels like being a small part of a very large machine. We have a lot of clocks on the walls to make sure everything stays on schedule. It isn't a place for sitting around and chatting much. We have our tasks and we stick to them until the shift ends. It’s a serious environment but we’ve got a good group of people working here. Most of us have been at this location for years and we know the routine like the back of our hands.
