Koraga Tea Trading Private Limited

Our business, Koraga Tea Trading Private Limited, is run out of the Darjeeling Tea Shop. We’re located in the Maynard Beach Palace Building in Benaulim, Salcete. This part of South Goa, with the 403716 zip code, is where we handle all our tea stocks. The building is right near the beach, so we get a bit of a breeze, which is nice when it’s hot outside. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and crates full of tea. We spend a lot of time sorting through the different types and making sure everything is packed up right for the customers. It’s a simple shop, not some big corporate office. We have a few regulars who stop by to see what’s new, and we just chat with them while we work. The floor in the Maynard building is a bit old, and we’ve had to patch it up in a few places. We aren't a big team, so if something needs fixing or the trash needs taking out, one of us just does it. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. Sometimes the shipments from Darjeeling take longer than they should, and we have to explain that to people. It’s just the way things go sometimes. We like being in Benaulim because it’s a bit more laid back than the northern part of the state. We just focus on the tea and keeping the shop going.
