We work out of a basement in Lajpat Nagar IV. The address is 13/82. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler during those really hot Delhi summers, which we definitely appreciate. Lajpat Nagar is always a hub of activity. There is always someone shouting or a horn honking outside. It can be a bit distracting, but you get used to it after a few months. We are a small consulting firm. We don't have a fancy entrance or a receptionist waiting to greet people. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a computer. We spend our days looking at figures and talking to clients about their projects. It isn’t always exciting, but it’s what we do. We try to keep our overhead low, which is why we are in this space. It’s practical for us. We’ve got a small kettle for making coffee and tea, and that’s about as fancy as our breakroom gets. People who come to see us are usually more interested in the advice we give than what the office looks like. We just try to give them straight answers without any fluff. That's the way we like to do things here in South Delhi. It’s a busy life, but it suits us just fine. We don't mind the noise from the market nearby at all.
