VERSATILE TEXTILES PRIVATE LIMITED

We have been operating out of this second-floor spot in Saket for a while now. It’s M-69, right in the middle of everything. If you walk up the stairs, you’ll usually find a couple of us sorting through textile samples or answering emails. The place isn't fancy, just a few desks and lots of fabric swatches lying around. Being in South Delhi means it’s always busy outside, but up here it’s mostly just us trying to get the orders right. Versatile Textiles is what the name says on the door, though we mostly just think of it as our daily workplace. We handle a lot of different types of cloth and materials throughout the week. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when new shipments come in, and we have to move chairs around just to find space. Our team is small, just a handful of people who know how the textile business works around here. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that because there's always something to ship or a client to call back. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going and usually have tea around four o’clock. Most days are just about checking the quality of what we get and making sure it goes where it’s supposed to go. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood and the stairs we climb every morning.
