We are based over in Lajpat Nagar III, at E-23. It’s a lively neighborhood, and there is always something happening on the streets around us. Our place focuses on fabrics and traditional styles, mostly things with a bit of a Kashmiri touch. We’ve got a lot of different materials piled up in the shop. It’s the kind of place where you have to dig a bit to find exactly what you want, but we are always around to help find a specific color or print. We aren't a big corporate chain; it’s more of a personal operation here. We spend our days dealing with suppliers and showing customers the new stuff that comes in. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy with fabric scraps or rolls that haven't been put away yet, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy. People from all over Delhi come to Lajpat Nagar for shopping, so we see a good mix of folks. We’ve been at this E-23 address for a while and have gotten to know the other shop owners nearby. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just like fabrics and we enjoy being part of the market here. If you’re walking around the III block, you can just step in and see what’s on the shelves. There is usually someone here from mid-morning onwards to show you around. It is just a regular local shop doing its daily work.
