Craft Hut

Our place, Craft Hut, is located at B-215 in Lajpat Nagar-I. It is a relatively quiet spot compared to the main market areas nearby, which we actually prefer for our daily work. We deal with various handcrafted items and small goods that people often like for their homes. The space is filled with shelves that are usually overflowing with different materials and finished pieces. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. We spend most of our time sorting through new arrivals or packing up things that people have picked out. The building itself is just a regular residential-style block, so it feels more like a home than a traditional shop. We don't have any big flashy signs out front, just a small one so people know they have the right house when they come to visit. Usually, we are working on the floor or at a big wooden table in the middle of the room. It gets a bit crowded when more than two people are working at once, but we make it work somehow. We have been in Lajpat Nagar-I for a while now, and we like the pace of life here. It is nice to be around other people who are also doing their own small businesses. We don't have a big corporate plan; we just keep making and selling things because it is what we know how to do best with our hands.
