Vasant Traders

Vasant Traders is based out of H-28 in Lajpat Nagar-Iv. We are up on the 4th floor, which means we spend a lot of our time looking out over the roofs of the neighborhood. The stairs are steep and we don't have a lift that stays working for very long, so we get our exercise just coming to work. The office is pretty simple. We have a couple of old wooden desks and stacks of paperwork that never seem to go away. We handle a lot of different trading goods, mostly small hardware and household items that go out to local shops. It is a noisy place because Lajpat Nagar is always humming with shoppers and cars honking below. We’ve been at this address for several years. People sometimes find it hard to locate us the first time because the building numbers are a bit confusing in this block. We don't spend any money on fancy marketing or polished brochures. Our business comes from the relationships we have built with suppliers over a long time. It is all about being reliable and showing up when we say we will. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the narrow streets around here, which can be a bit of a struggle. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the orders moving. It is just me and two other guys running the whole show. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent business in a busy part of town.
