Garcha Fertilizer

We are based at Ta 176/2 in Tughlakabad Extension. It’s a dusty part of town, which makes sense given the nature of our business. Garcha Fertilizer has been in this spot for quite a while now. We have stacks of bags everywhere, and the floor is usually covered in a fine layer of white powder or dirt. It’s not the cleanest place to work, but it’s a warehouse, so we don't mind much. We spend our days loading and unloading trucks that come in from the main road. The drivers are usually in a hurry, so there's always a bit of shouting and engine noise in the background. We have a small office tucked in the corner with a couple of old computers and a printer that jams too often. We don't bother with fancy rugs or nice furniture because it would just get dirty in a day. We know the farmers and the distributors who come through here regularly. We talk about the weather and the crops while we wait for the paperwork to be signed and stamped. It’s straightforward work. No one here wears a suit. We wear boots and clothes that can take a bit of a beating from the bags. The sun hits the front of the building hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the metal shutters halfway down to stay cool. It’s a busy place, and we just keep moving.
