Sangam Direct

If you walk through the Main Market in Kalkaji, you’ll find us at Shop Number 18 and 19. We’ve taken up two spots here in Krishna Market to make sure there’s enough room for all the groceries. Sangam Direct is usually humming with the sound of the fridge or people chatting while they pick out their vegetables. Kalkaji is a crowded place, and our shop reflects that energy. We spend a lot of our mornings checking the crates and making sure the dairy section is stocked up before the breakfast rush starts. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy bags and rearranging the biscuit packets that kids tend to mess up. We don't have a big corporate office or anything; it’s just us here on the floor, dealing with the daily deliveries and the heat in the summer. Sometimes the inventory gets a little messy, but we sort it out eventually. Most of our customers live just a few streets away, so we hear a lot about what’s going on in the neighborhood. We focus on having the stuff people use every day, like soap, tea leaves, and spices. It’s a simple operation, really. We open up, we stock the shelves, and we help people find what they’re looking for until it’s time to pull down the shutters at night and go home.
