Overland Textiles Llp

Overland Textiles Llp is based out of Phase-II in the Okhla Industrial Area, at A-55. Okhla is a very busy place with trucks and workers everywhere you look. Our building is a typical industrial setup with high ceilings and heavy doors. It’s a bit grey and dusty outside, but inside we keep it busy with all our textile stock. We have large racks where we keep the rolls of fabric organized by type. It’s quite a large space, so we do a lot of walking back and forth throughout the day. Usually, someone is operating the lift while others are checking the inventory sheets. It’s a lot of physical work and it gets quite loud with all the machinery in the nearby units. We don’t have a fancy office area; our desks are right near the storage so we can see what’s going on. Lunch is usually whatever someone brought from home, eaten quickly so we can get back to the afternoon shipments. The roads in Okhla are often being dug up or are full of traffic, so we have to plan our deliveries carefully. It’s an honest day’s work for all of us. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just handle textiles, make sure they get where they need to go, and try to keep things running smoothly in this busy part of South Delhi. There's always a truck waiting at the gate and a lot of papers to sign.
