Project Art

Project Art is located at E-65 in South Extension Part-2. If you know South Ex, you know it’s a place where people come for all sorts of shopping and services. Our space is tucked in there, and we focus on everything related to art and creative projects. We have a lot of frames, canvases, and various pieces of artwork around the place. It isn't a museum or anything fancy, just a working space where we put things together. Some days we are busy stretching canvases or helping someone choose the right frame for a picture they really like. It can get a bit messy with all the scraps and materials, but that’s just the nature of working with art. We spend a lot of time talking to people about what they want to display in their homes or offices. The lighting in our shop is something we tried to get right so people can see the colors properly. South Extension can be a nightmare for parking, so we usually tell people to come at certain times if they are bringing something heavy. We have a small staff and we’ve all been interested in art for a long time. It’s a nice way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit tiring standing on your feet. We don’t really do big advertising; mostly people just find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend.
