Jas Disign

Our workplace is in Tughalakabad Extension, New Delhi. The address is TA-289/5. It’s a bit of a crowded neighborhood, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. Jas Disign isn't a huge studio with floor-to-ceiling windows. It’s more of a functional space where we can actually get things done. We have our tools and our materials spread out. Sometimes it looks a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The streets around here are always full of people and carts. It can be a struggle just to get a delivery truck to the door. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working with our hands. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just make things. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we don’t need to talk much to know what needs to happen next. We drink a lot of tea and work through the heat. There’s no air conditioning in every corner, just some good fans. We don't try to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. If you come to see us, you’ll see us working. That’s the way we like it. It’s a basic, hardworking environment in a busy part of the city. We aren't interested in being fancy, we just want to do the work right and finish it on time for everyone.
