Mohinder & Co.

Mohinder & Co. is based in the J-4/33-A DDA Flats in Kalkaji. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels a lot different than working in a big commercial park. You see people walking their dogs or kids playing outside while we’re in here working. New Delhi is a fast-paced place, but our little corner of Kalkaji is a bit more grounded. We’ve been in this flat for a long time. It’s been modified a bit to fit desks and filing cabinets, but it still feels like a home in some ways. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. People who need us usually know where to find us. We handle a lot of the day-to-day business tasks that keep things running. There’s no mission statement on the wall. We just believe in getting through the pile of work on the desk before the day is over. Sometimes we stay late when things get piled up, but usually, we try to head out at a reasonable hour. It’s a small team, and we don’t really have formal titles. We just do whatever needs to be done. Whether it’s answering the phone or sorting through old records, everyone chips in. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it’s served us well over the years. We don't do anything fancy, just the basic work that needs doing. It is a quiet existence here in the flats.
