Maa Dharitri Terracotta & Allied Crafts Producer Company Limited

We are based in Madangir, specifically in the DDA Flats area near Gali Number 38. Maa Dharitri Terracotta & Allied Crafts is all about the traditional work, specifically terracotta and other handmade items. It’s a producer company, which means we work closely with the people who actually make these things. Our office is right in the heart of Ambedkar Nagar, and it’s always busy around here. There’s no big corporate vibe in our office. You’ll mostly find samples of pottery and craftwork sitting around on the shelves. We spend a lot of time talking to the artisans and trying to find ways to get their products out to more people. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes it’s a struggle to get everything lined up. We aren't professional writers, so this is just us telling it like it is. We care about the crafts because that's what we know. The space we work in is small and functional. We don't have air conditioning in every room, and sometimes the Gali gets really crowded with people and carts, making it hard to move big orders from house 1299. But we’ve been here for a while and we’ve figured out how to make it work. It’s just a group of us trying to keep these traditional crafts going in a big city like Delhi. We just take it one day at a time and try to do our best.
