KASAULI HOME SPACE LLP

We are located on the ground floor over in Lajpat Nagar I. It’s right near the community centre, so it’s easy enough to find if you know the landmarks. Kasauli Home Space is where we handle things related to home interiors and decor. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many samples and catalogs lying around. It’s not one of those shiny showrooms you see in magazines. It’s more of a working office where we sit down and figure out what people want for their houses. Lajpat Nagar is always bustling, so there is a lot of noise from the street coming through the front door. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and making sure the items we order actually arrive in one piece. Sometimes the samples don't look exactly like the pictures, which can be frustrating. We try to be honest about what will work in a small Delhi flat and what won't. It’s just a small team here. We make our own tea and usually eat lunch together at the main desk. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to help people get their homes sorted out. The floor gets a bit messy with bits of fabric and wood shavings sometimes, but we clean it up at the end of the shift. It’s just how we run things. There is always a lot of dust from the renovations going on nearby, but we manage somehow.
