Our office is a house in Arjun Nagar, right in the Safdarjung Enclave area of New Delhi. It’s House No 170. Working out of a house makes things feel a lot less formal than those big office blocks in Gurgaon or Noida. We like being in a residential neighborhood. It’s got more character. We’re a small consulting group, and we spend most of our time talking to people or looking at spreadsheets. The rooms are filled with books and old files. We have a small garden out front where we sometimes take our breaks when the weather isn’t too hot. The parking on this street is always a bit of a puzzle, but we usually find a spot eventually. We aren't some massive corporation with thousands of workers. We’re just a few dedicated people who know our stuff. We don’t use a lot of fancy jargon; we just explain things in plain English to our clients. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it’s just a delivery or a neighbor, which is fine by us. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do work hard to meet our deadlines. We’ve been in Arjun Nagar for quite some time now and we’ve become part of the local scene. It’s a good place to be if you want to stay grounded and just get the work done. We don't need a fancy lobby to do good consulting.
