Guruver Metal Castings

We are located at No. 41 in Mavi Mohalla, which is part of Tekhand in Okhla Phase 1. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a place where things are constantly being made and moved. Guruver Metal Castings is right in the middle of all that. The air around here usually smells like hot metal and sand because that’s what we work with every day. It’s a tough environment, especially when the furnaces are running and the heat starts to build up in the shop. We don't have air conditioning out on the floor, so we just drink a lot of water and keep the big doors open. The floors are always a bit dusty from the casting process, no matter how much we sweep. It’s hard physical work, moving heavy molds and pouring molten metal into them. We’ve got a small crew of men who have been doing this for a long time. They don't need to be told what to do; they just know the rhythm of the place and how to stay safe. Mavi Mohalla is a bit crowded, and getting a vehicle in and out can be a real headache sometimes. We just deal with it. We aren't looking for awards or anything, just trying to produce good castings that meet the requirements our customers give us. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening most days.
