Guruver Metal Casting

We operate out of 41, Mavi Mohalla in Tekhand, which is right near Okhla Phase-1. Being so close to Okhla means there is always a lot of industrial activity nearby, but Mavi Mohalla has its own local feel. At Guruver Metal Casting, the work is mostly about the furnace and the molds. It’s a hot and dusty environment, which is just the nature of casting metal. We don't have a clean office space to sit in; most of our time is spent on the shop floor. The walls are darkened from the heat, and there are tools scattered everywhere. We do things the old-fashioned way, focusing on the actual pouring and shaping of the metal. It’s hard work and it’s often loud, especially when the machinery is running. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to answer phones in a professional way. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands and picks up the mobile if it rings. It’s a small operation where everyone knows their job. The neighborhood is busy, with trucks constantly navigating the narrow roads to pick up or drop off materials. We’ve stayed in this spot because it’s practical for the type of heavy work we do. It’s not a pretty place, but it’s where we produce our castings and keep the business going every single day.
