Garg Store

We are Garg Store, located at Shop No -19/2 on the Main Road in Yusuf Sarai. Most people know the area because it’s right near the Green Park side of things. If you find the Bata Showroom, you are pretty much there. Yusuf Sarai is a tight-knit spot but very crowded because of the market and the hospitals nearby. Our shop is one of those places where you just come in to get your daily stuff. It’s not a huge supermarket or anything, just a local shop where things are piled up a bit high. We spend a lot of time talking to the delivery guys and making sure the fridge is working right. Sometimes the noise from the main road gets to be a lot, but you get used to it after a few years. We’ve had the same counters and shelves for a long time now. They’ve seen better days, but they do the job. We don’t really have a big staff, so it’s usually one of us behind the counter all day. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the shop. People from the nearby colonies come in all the time for small things they forgot to buy elsewhere. It’s a simple life running a store here. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the regulars are taken care of.
