Finsmart Global

Our office for Finsmart Global is at O 33 in Sriniwaspuri. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and finding a parking spot can be a real headache some days. We are in a typical row house setup. Downstairs is mostly storage and upstairs is where we have the computers set up. We do a lot of back-office work here. It is not the most glamorous place, with wires running along the walls and stacks of paper everywhere. We keep the air conditioner on as much as we can because the heat gets trapped in these old buildings. Most of the time, we are just typing away or talking to clients on the headset. It’s a global kind of business but we are very much a local Delhi team. We often order lunch from the dhaba around the corner because no one has time to cook. The stairs are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to watch their step. We’ve been at this address for a couple of years now. It’s a tight-knit group here. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. If there's a problem, we just talk it out over lunch. The noise from the main road drifts in, but it’s just part of the background now. We keep things simple and try to get the work finished by six so everyone can get home to their families.
