Elcom Trading Company Private Limited has two spots, 302 and 55, in the Madhuban Building at Nehru Place. Nehru Place is a crazy place to work. It is the heart of the electronics market in Delhi and there are wires and gadgets everywhere you look. The Madhuban Building is one of those tall structures where everyone is in a rush. We have been operating out of these two rooms for a while now. Room 302 is usually where the paperwork happens and 55 is more for the hands-on stuff. It is a lot of back and forth between the floors. The lifts are often slow so we end up taking the stairs more than we like. It is a noisy environment with all the vendors and people looking for computer parts. We don't have any fancy signs or polished reception areas. It is just a place where we trade and get things done. Some days it feels like the whole of Delhi is inside this one market. We know the tea sellers and the other shop owners nearby. It is a community of sorts even if it looks chaotic from the outside. We just try to stay organized in the middle of all the madness. It is a lot of hard work and long hours but we are used to the pace of Nehru Place. We keep things simple and just keep moving forward.
