Colors

Colors is our small business tucked away in the basement at 2/24A, Lajpat Nagar, Jang Pura. Being in a basement means we don't have big windows, but it keeps the place cool during those really hot Delhi summers. We’ve been in this part of Jang Pura for a while now. It’s a busy neighborhood with people always rushing around outside, but down here, we just focus on our daily tasks. We don't have a fancy entrance or a huge sign. People usually find us by word of mouth or by spotting the small board near the stairs. It’s a bit of a tight space, filled with whatever projects we are currently working on. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing with suits and formal meetings. Most of us just wear jeans and get to work. Sometimes the basement gets a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is stored. We deal with a lot of local clients who just drop by to see how things are going. It’s a very informal way of doing business, but it suits us and the neighborhood. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized, even when things get hectic. It’s just a normal, hardworking shop in a basement. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do our jobs right every day in Lajpat Nagar.
