Our office is located at 118/3 on the 2nd Floor in Arjun Nagar, which is part of Safdarjung Enclave. Cce Marble Private Limited has been operating from this South West Delhi spot for some time now. Being on the second floor means we don't have the heavy slabs right under our desks, but we are always busy managing the logistics of the stone trade. It’s a lot of phone calls to the yards and checking in on deliveries. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some chairs for visitors and a lot of binders full of different stone types and prices. It gets a bit hectic when several people are in at once, but we manage. Arjun Nagar is a busy little pocket of the city, so there’s always something going on outside. We don't bother with fancy slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the marble. Most of the people working here have a good eye for the material and can tell you what’s what. We spend our days looking at schedules and making sure the trucks are going to the right sites. It’s a regular job for us. We show up, deal with the daily issues that come with the stone business, and try to keep things moving. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs but it’s where we handle everything.
