Crystal Granite & Marble Pvt. Ltd.

Our yard is located way out at the 41st kilometer on the road between Bangalore and Mysore. We are in Madapura Village, so there is plenty of open space around us. We deal with big slabs of granite and marble all day. You can imagine it gets pretty heavy and dusty. We use large saws to cut the stone, and the sound is quite something when they are all running. We don't have a polished showroom with lights; we just keep the slabs out where you can see the natural colors. Rain or shine, we are out there moving stone with the cranes. Some of the guys have been working with marble since they were young. It’s a physical job and everyone goes home tired. The office is just a small cabin near the gate where we keep the records. We don't really bother with fancy marketing or anything like that. People find us because they need stone for their houses or buildings. We've got piles of offcuts in the corner that we sometimes give away. It’s a simple life out here in Ramanagaram. The traffic on the main road is the only real noise besides our machines. We just focus on the stone and making sure the cuts are straight. We have a small garden out front that one of the workers looks after when things are slow.
