Bhagat Provision Store

Bhagat Provision Store is our little shop over in Aya Nagar, near the Air Force Station at G-816. It’s a typical local grocery spot where we stock a bit of everything that people might need for their kitchens. We spend a lot of our time unpacking crates of milk in the morning and making sure the lentils and rice bags are stacked properly. It’s a busy little corner of the neighborhood. Since we’re near the Air Force area, we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. The shop is quite full, so you have to watch your step so you don’t knock over a tower of biscuit packets. We don't have a computer system or anything like that; we just use a notebook and a calculator to keep track of things. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. My hands are usually a bit dusty from handling the flour bags, and the ceiling fan wobbles a little when it’s on full speed. We don’t have any big plans to expand or anything. We just want to keep the shelves filled and make sure the people living around here can get their daily supplies without having to go too far. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from early morning until late at night. Sometimes we run out of things unexpectedly, but we try to get them back in stock as soon as the truck comes.
