Arti Mittal Ultrasound Clinic

Lado Sarai is a maze if you aren't used to it, but we’ve made our home here at E320A. The ultrasound clinic is a busy little corner. It’s mostly just the sound of the machine humming and the gel bottles being moved around. We’ve been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has grown up all around us. The building itself is just a standard Lado Sarai structure, nothing that stands out from the street, but people find us easily enough by asking the shopkeepers nearby. We spend a lot of time in the dark because of the screens, so when we step outside for a break, the bright Delhi sun always feels like a bit of a shock. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the machine, and the patients who come in with their papers. Some of them are nervous, some are just tired from the commute, and we try to get them through as quickly as we can without rushing. The waiting area is small, so it gets a bit cramped when husbands and mothers come along too. We have a small desk where we write down the names and take the fees. It’s straightforward work. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable spot where you can get an ultrasound done without too much fuss or waiting. We just do our work and go home when the last patient leaves.
