Anubhav Nigam Design Studio

Anubhav Nigam Design Studio is located at No. 252 on the first floor in Shahpur Jat. We are right near Aggarwal Sweets, which is a great landmark because everyone knows where that is. Sahpurjat is a maze of narrow lanes and old buildings, and we are right in the thick of it. Being on the first floor means we get a little bit of a break from the noise on the ground, but not much. The studio is where all the thinking and drawing happens. We have sketches pinned to the walls and fabric samples draped over the chairs. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a place where we actually work. The floor is often covered in loose threads and paper clippings. Sometimes we stay late and can smell the food from the sweet shop downstairs. It’s a creative area, with lots of other studios nearby, so there’s always an interesting mix of people in the lanes. We’ve been in this Sahpurjat spot for a while now. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so carrying big rolls of fabric can be a challenge. We just deal with it and get on with the day. It’s a good spot for Anubhav Nigam Design Studio because of the energy of the neighborhood. We just keep doing our thing and hope people like the results of our hard work.
