Annapurna Store

Annapurna Store is located at H/S-32 in the Kailash Colony Main Market. If you know the area, we are right by the Shiv Mandir. You can often hear the bells from the temple during the morning and evening prayers. It gives the whole market a specific feel. We have been in this spot in Delhi for quite some time now. The building is H/S-32, and it is a bit of an old structure. The stairs nearby are a little steep. Inside the store, we have things piled up where they fit. It is a typical market shop where space is at a premium. We spend our days talking to the people who stop by after visiting the mandir. The floor is made of that old grey stone that stays cold even when it is hot outside. We do not use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is just done by hand. It is a small operation. Just a few of us making sure things are in order. The main market is always full of energy, and being near the temple means there are always flowers and people around. We like the location because it feels like the center of everything in Kailash Colony. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss or worry about being the biggest store around. It is enough for us.
