Sarkar & Sons

Sarkar & Sons is tucked away at 738, Laskarhat, in Tagore Park. We are in Block-D, specifically at House No. 15. This is more of a residential-feeling area compared to the city center, which is nice because it’s a bit calmer. Our office is basically part of a house. It’s a family-style setup. You might see someone’s lunch sitting on a desk or hear someone's phone ringing from across the room. We don't have a lot of employees, just a handful of us who have been doing this for a while. We handle all sorts of things, mostly clerical and coordination work. The desks are old and the chairs squeak, but it doesn't bother us much. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office. We just want to get the work finished so we can go home to our families. We spend a lot of time writing things down in ledgers or typing away on old computers. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just have to wait it out. It’s a very relaxed environment, but we still get our tasks done. We don't have big presentations or anything like that. If there’s a problem, we just sit around the main table and talk it through. It’s an honest, simple way to run a business. We’re just a small outfit in Laskarhat doing our best every day.
