Sanjha Chulha

Sanjha Chulha is situated at 88, near Science City in Kolkata. The area is Uttar Panchanna Gram, Vip Nagar, with the pin code 700100. It’s a bit away from the main city center but near the big Science City landmark. We get a lot of families who have been visiting the science park. The place is pretty simple. We have tables and chairs and a kitchen that stays busy. Kolkata is a city that loves to eat, and we are just happy to be part of that. It’s not a fancy restaurant with waiters in uniforms. We are more casual than that. Sometimes the service takes a bit longer because everything is made fresh in the back. The road outside can get quite dusty because of all the construction around Vip Nagar. We try to keep the inside as clean as possible. It is a family-run kind of place. We don't have a website or a big social media page. Most people find us by just driving past on their way to Science City. It’s a humble spot. We just focus on the cooking and making sure everyone gets their food. It’s a long day for us, starting early and finishing late, but that’s the business we chose. Sometimes we have to deal with the heat or the rain, but we keep the door open for anyone looking for a meal.
