Sumit Dahiya

I’ve been around New Shanti Nagar for some time now. People know me as Sumit Dahiya and I just run things from here. It is not a big office with glass doors or anything like that. Just a simple room where I get my work done. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello and that’s how things go in this part of town. The streets get a bit dusty when the wind picks up but it’s home. I started this because I needed something to do and it grew into a daily routine. Most days start early and end when the sun goes down. I don't have a big team or fancy computers everywhere. It is just me and the tasks on my desk. You find me here most weekdays unless I’ve stepped out for a tea break at the corner. The address is pretty easy to find once you get into the main lane of New Shanti Nagar. I didn't want to move to the city center because it is too loud there. Here, I can actually think. I keep things straightforward. If someone needs something, they just come over and we talk. No need for filling out forms or waiting in lines. It’s just how I like to handle my business. It isn't perfect but it works for me and the people who come by. I have been in this spot for a couple of years now and the community is quite alright.
