Ram Packaging

Our place is out in the Hsiidc Industrial Estate, specifically in Section 38, Phase 1 over in Rai. It’s a big industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving and people working all around us. We do packaging work, which basically means we spend our time with a lot of cardboard and tape. The workshop is usually buzzing with the sound of machines and the guys talking. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a regular local business where we try to do a decent job every day. The office is small and usually has papers piled up, but that’s just how we keep track of things. We’ve been here long enough to know the way the estate runs. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get muddy when it rains, but we just keep going. It’s not always pretty, but the work gets done. We don't have a team of salesmen; we just rely on people knowing where we are and what we do. Dealing with packaging means you have to be careful about the details, so we just focus on the boxes and the rolls. It’s a simple life out here in Rai. We like the routine and the fact that we know our work. It’s a honest way to spend the day without making things too complicated for ourselves or anyone else.
