Om Packaging

Our location is 1239 in the Hsiidc Industrial Area over in Rai, which is in the Sonepat district. At Om Packaging, we are surrounded by rolls of paper and stacks of boxes all day long. The warehouse is a big open space, and it can get quite cold in the winter and very dusty when the wind picks up. We spend most of our time operating the packing machines or loading up the trucks that come to the bay. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure the inventory is where it should be. The Hsiidc area is full of businesses like ours, so there’s always a lot of movement on the roads. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s just a small room with a desk and a couple of chairs near the main entrance. We mostly communicate through shouts across the floor or quick notes. We've been in Sonepat for a while and we know most of the other business owners around here. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, which can take up half the day. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the packaging ready and out the door. It’s straightforward work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We don't ask for much, just a good day's work and machines that run without too many hiccups.
